For festival updates, subscribe to our newsletter + follow us on Instagram @heyflashfoxy.

Nestled in in beautiful Payahuunadu in the Eastern Sierras, Bishop not only offers world-class bouldering but also provides hundreds of sport climbing routes nearby. We work hard to make the Flash Foxy Climbing Festival a welcoming space for women and genderqueer climbers of all levels to come together and celebrate all that climbing has to offer! This event is open to climbers of all ages and abilities.

Flash Foxy welcomes all women and genderqueer climbers to join us at this event. Our goal is to create and maintain a safe and diverse space where consent and respect are our first priorities. Harassment of any kind (unwanted contact, verbal or physical abuse, racism, homophobia, transphobia, body-shaming, etc.) will NOT be tolerated and will lead to being asked to leave.

WHAT IS TRAD FEST?

As a compliment to our Bishop event which is primarily bouldering and sport climbing with a little trad climbing, the Flash Foxy Trad Fest is primarily trad climbing, with some bouldering and top roping.

The kid sibling to our flagship Flash Foxy Climbing Festival in Bishop, the Flash Foxy Trad Fest is a three-day climbing event for women and genderqueer climbers - including trans and gender non-conforming folks - of all ages with rotating locations every 3-5 years. As a compliment to our Bishop event which is primarily bouldering and sport climbing with a little trad climbing, the Flash Foxy Trad Fest is primarily trad climbing with some bouldering and top roping.

We held this festival in Chattanooga from 2017 to 2019 and in North Conway, NH from 2022-2024. We hope that moving our location every few years will allow new folks to attend the event and grow our community!
